Our Operation
We started in the upgrading program and have purchased purebred cows at sales over the years and keep most of our heifers. We do carcass ultrasound testing on our yearling bulls, and yearling heifers. We follow a rigid vaccination program, and BVD ear notch test all animals. Our cattle run on irrigated pasture, desert ground that grows mostly greasewood and salt grass, and river bottom pasture. Some of our customers run on some pretty rough country in rural Nevada and our bulls have held up well under these conditions.
